On Friday, 6 March 2026, the IAG had the pleasure of welcoming bachelor students from two German universities. Geoscience students from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, accompanied by Prof. Chiogna, and Geoscience students from the University of Bonn, accompanied by Prof. Muniruzzaman, spent an inspiring day at the institute.

The visit centred on the topics of water quality, contaminant transport, and the remediation of contaminated sites. The visiting students explored the IAG's laboratory facilities and engaged in lively discussions with postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and technicians from the Aquatic Geochemistry group (Prof. Rolle).
