Researh interests:

My research interests are focus on minerals, especially clays and clay minerals, and their uses in understanding the process of the earth, geothermal system, geotechnical, and environmental problems.

Topics of research interests:

• Expandable clays (bentonite) for the Engineered Barrier Systems (EBS).
• THMC and geotechnical behaviors of clay at the laboratory and natural scales.
• Reconstruction of the paleogeothermal history in a geothermal system.
• Diagenesis and low-grade metamorphism.
• Behaviors of clays and their properties on paddy soils.

• X-ray diffraction (XRD)
• X-ray Fluoresence (XRF)
• Electron microscopic techniques (TEM-EDX, SEM-EDX)
• Differential thermal analysis (DTA) / Thermogravimetric analysis (TG) (DTA-TG)
