On 1 and 2 October 2024, the annual Radiation Protection Meeting of the Federal Office for Radiation Protection took place again this year in the Alte Turnhalle Berlin. Our PhD student Johannes Mair presenteda talk titled “Radon Profile Along a 323 m Long Drill Core”’.

The talk addressed current findings on determining layer-specific radon concentrations in connection with the research drilling in the Hessian Ried (source: HLNUG) to identify geological patterns related to the radon supply.
