Research interests focus on investigating microplastic pollution in agricultural systems, particularly the effects of biodegradable and conventional microplastics on soil health and plant nutrition. The goal is to explore how these materials influence element cycling and crop development. Additionally, there is an emphasis on evaluating various fertilization strategies to mitigate the negative impacts of microplastics. This research aims to contribute to sustainable agricultural practices by providing insights into the interactions between microplastics and soil-plant systems, along with evidence-based recommendations for enhancing soil and crop resilience in the face of environmental challenges.
