From 13–18 September 2025, members of the Soil Mineralogy and Soil Chemistry group attended the annual meeting of the German Soil Science Society (DBG) in Tübingen. Prof. Moritz Bigalke, Dr. Collin J. Weber, Dr. Kai Nitzsche, Dr. Alexandra Foetisch, Hannah Forsyth, and Mostafa Sadeghi represented the group. Contributions included oral presentations by Dr. Weber, Dr. Foetisch, Hannah Forsyth, and Mostafa Sadeghi focusing on the topic of microplastics and nanoplastics in soil, as well as a poster by Dr. Nitzsche. The conference provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas and future collaboration with researchers from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and beyond.
