Studying Abroad

A Life-Changing Experience

The TU Darmstadt's students are offered the opportunity to study abroad for one or two semesters at a partner university within the framework of an exchange programme. A stay abroad enables you to get to know another country, another language and another culture while making many international contacts. This needs to be well organised and planned in advance. We support you in this!

The Erasmus+ programme covers the exchange within Europe. The representative at the IAG for the ERASMUS programme and the DAAD programme is Dr. Karl Ernst Roehl.

By the way: foreign students at the TU can also take part in many of the exchange programs.

All applications and letters of motivation must be submitted to Dr. Karl Ernst Roehl before November 30. An interview regarding one or two semesters abroad via DAAD, ERASMUS or specific foundation programmes as well as the Technical University of Darmstadt or the State of Hesse is desirable and partly obligatory for some study programmes. All new applications for ERASMUS+, Lecturer Mobility and Learning Agreements must be discussed with the coordinator and an application can only be prepared together.
