The graduation ceremony for our graduates in Applied Geosciences regularly takes place in July, on the penultimate Friday before the end of the lecture period in the summer semester. We would like to celebrate your successful graduation and a new phase in your life together with you, your family members and friends in a festive atmosphere.

IAG Graduation Party – 12.07.2024

This year, our graduation ceremony was held again in the IAG premises and outside the institute, in pleasant weather and without the rain that had been forecast. 30 graduates and their guests attended (almost 100 people in total), as well as numerous IAG employees, students, and alumni.

The Director of the Institute, Prof. Andreas Henk, led through the program, which included a brief overview of the developments at the institute (by the institute's Managing Director Dr. Karl Ernst Roehl), a geological lecture (by Dr. Michaela Falkenroth), and the honoring of the graduates (by the Dean of Studies Prof. Konrad Kandler).

Thanks to numerous helpers, especially from the students and alumni, it was once again a successful event, and we are already looking forward to the next celebration in 2025 and cordially invite you to join us (save the date: 18.07.2025).
