Tropical Hydrogeology and Environmental Engineering

Our international Master's programme "Tropical Hydrogeology and Environmental Engineering" (TropHEE) is focused on the problems of the tropics and subtropics. It takes into account the special geoscientific explosiveness of these areas, whose rapidly and mostly uncontrolled growing urban aglomerations are confronted with scarce geo-resources. The language of instruction is English.

Since my bachelor studies, I have been interested in Environmental Geosciences and the TropHEE Master Programme has allowed me to acquire new knowledge and tools around this field and showed me the wide range of applicability that this topic could have in academic and practical instances. Besides, as being part of an international master programme, I have learned about the experiences in different countries around the world that have similar challenges as Colombia.
